Newlywed teen girl commits suicide in Daikundi

NEILI/FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): A 17-year-old newlywed girl has allegedly committed suicide in the Kiti district of central Daikundi province.

The provincial crime branch in a statement said the girl committed suicide due to domestic violence on Sunday.

Police spokesman Ghulam Ali Javed said the incident took place at around 7:00pm on Sunday evening.

A source, wishing anonymity, said that security forces rushed to the area for investigation.

According to another report, a child was injured when an unexploded rocket shell went off in western Ghor province.
