KABUL (Pajhwok): Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has promised to do all he can to help Afghan students return to India to complete their studies.
Muttaqi held out the assurance at a meeting with dozens of Afghan students in Kabul on Monday, the Foreign Ministry said.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad, deputy spokesman for the ministry, said the students urged the foreign minister to help them go back to India to resume their studies.
Muttaqi said resolving problems of Afghan students was a priority and that he would task the officials concerned to share the demand with the Indian Embassy here.
Following security assurances from the Taliban, India recently re-sent diplomats to the embassy in Kabul.
