NEILI (Pajhwok): Charity and welfare organisations in central Daikundi province have been urged to allocate 25 percent of assistances to families of the disabled and martyrs, the governor said on Wednesday.
Daikundi Governor Amiullah Obaid urged all organisations to pay taxes to the Revenue Department and present monthly reports to the Department of Economy.
A statement from the Governor House said during a coordination meeting, all charity and welfare organisations were urged to ensure transparency in aid distribution.
Participants of the meeting explained that all poor and needy people could not be covered due to lack of resources.
