Helmand: 50 infected with cholera in Greshk district

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): At least 50 people have been infected with cholera in the Greshk district of southern Helmand province since Wednesday, an official said on Thursday.

Information Director Hafiz Rashid told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Since Wednesday 50 people infected with cholera have visited a local hospital to receive medical treatment.”

At least 20 people lost their lives to the disease and more than 120 were hospitalised in the Baghran district of Helmand province.
