GHAZNI (Pajhwok): A suspected cholera outbreak has infected at least 184 people since Friday in the Gero district of central Ghazni province, an official said on Saturday
Mohammad NasimArbab, director of epidemic diseases control, told Pajhwok Afghan News these individuals fell ill after drinking unhealthy water from a well in Mata Khan District.
He added health teams have been dispatched to the area to control the disease by cleaning the contaminated water.
Abrar further said the ill people were taken to the local health center while two of them who were in critical condition were sent to Ghazni provincial hospital for treatment.
