KABUL (Pajhwok): The computerised national identity card (CNIC) branch in the Sarai Shamali area of Kabul has distributed nearly 100,000 cards in the past 10 months, an official said on Monday.
Director of Sara-i-Shamali Branch Wahidullah Wahidi said they had 74 employees, including 13 women, with the capacity to dispose of 2,000 applications daily.
In addition to the distribution of new CNICs, applications for children’s registration, marriage certificates and other documents were also addressed.
