GARDEZ (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (MoVPV) says its actions to correct people will not be sacrificed under international pressure.
Minister Mohammad Khalid Hanafi made the remarks while addressing a gathering, attended by government officials, in southeastern Paktia province.
Hanafi said: “Some foreigners and international organisations are criticising our actions. They say we have deprived the people of their basic rights or offended them. In fact, our actions are aimed to correct people and they will never change.”
He blamed the Americans and some other foreigners for creating a gap between the Afghan government and nation . . .
