KABUL (Pajhwok): Thousands of tonnes of liquefied gas will enter markets across the country, says the first deputy prime minister’s office.
A meeting here was informed on
Sunday liquefied gas purchased from Turkmenistan would reach markets soon.
Bakhtar News Agency, citing a statement from the deputy premier’s office reported Turkmen companies had already delivered that gas to Hairatan, Aqina and Torghondai ports.
The Finance Ministry hopes fuel prices would decline with the import of 350,000 tonnes of fuel from Iran, in accordance, the price of fuel will decline.
Currently, one kilogram of liquefied gas accounts for 80 afghanis, a price that has prompted complaints from consumers.
