Russia records 7,523 Covid-19 cases in a single day

KABUL (Pajhwok): Russia has announced documenting 7,523 confirmed coronavirus cases in a single day, the state-run news agency reported.

TASS said it was the highest daily tally since April 29, when 7,710 cases were recorded in one day. Russia has so far recorded 18,532,255 cases.

According to the report, 757 coronavirus patients were hospitalised in the past 24 hours, compared to 1,200 a day before (a 36.9% decrease).

At least 37 Covid-10 patients died in the past 24 hours, falling from 38 the day before. Overall, the pandemic has claimed 382,155 lives in Russia.
