LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): A father has killed his six-year-old son in the Khanshin district of southern Helmand province, an official said on Wednesday.
Maulvi Mohammad Qasim Riaz, director of information and culture, told Pajhwok that a six-year-old child was killed after being beaten by his father in Qala-i-Naw area of the district on Tuesday.
He said the father had been arrested by security forces and introduced him to justice.
Without providing details, he said the detainee was also accused of killing his other son.
