KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health on Monday said 500 free eye operations were being performed at Noor Hospital in Kabul with the help of Pakistani specialists.
The ministry spokesman, Dr. Sharaf Zaman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the operations included eyelid surgery and some other diseases.
He added that the operations started today and will continue for four days.
He said the patients were first examined at OPD before being considered for operation.
