KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have discussed bilateral cooperation on regional and international issues.
On Friday, Erdogan arrived in Russia and he met Putin in the Black Sea resort of Sochi, TASS news agency reported.
Both sides discussed a wide range of subjects, bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international issues, the state-run media outlet said.
The report added the two leaders were expected to focus on multifaceted Russian-Turkish cooperation, including the prospects for broader trade and economic ties in the future.
The implementation of joint strategic energy projects and an exchange of views on exports of Ukrainian grain, Syria and Nagorno-Karabakh were also expected to be discussed, the news agency reported.
