3 die, as many injured in separate accidents

NEILI CITY (Pajhwok): Three persons have died and three more injured in two separate traffic accidents in central Daikundi and western Nimroz provinces, security officials said on Wednesday.

Ghulam Ali Jawid, Daikundi police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the first accident happened in Pai Kotalac Abdi village of Ishtarlay district, in which one person died and three others wounded.

Jawid added the accident occurred when a mazda truck delivering aid from Ishtarlay district center to Ghouj Kol area skidded off the road and overturned in in Pai Kotalak Abdi area.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Qasim Riaz, an official of Helmand province, told Pajhwok that a 304 bus hit and killed two persons in the limits of Delaram district of Nimroz province.

Riaz added the bus driver had fled the area and security personnel had launched a manhunt for him.
