MoF: No company can import goods in another company’s name

KABUL (Pajhwok): No business company has the right to import goods using the name of another company, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) says.

The MoF on its twitter handle said it has facilitated the issuance of ASYCUDA users for business companies at the Customs Directorate in order they could manage their customs clearance works from their workplaces or abroad.

The MoF said some companies’ officials approached the Customs Directorate, saying their goods were mistakenly imported in the name of other companies.

So the ministry asked the companies to import their commercial goods to the customs directorate using their own license.

The ministry asked businessmen to follow their goods custom works under their company’s name and they must provide their legal invoice, packing list and other documents and no company should claim its goods are imported in the name of another company to the customs.
