SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have rescued a 10-year-old child from kidnappers on in northern Sar-i-Pul province, an official said on Monday.
Din Mohammad Nazari, deputy police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the child was rescued by the security personnel of the 2nd police district of Sar-i-Pul City at around 9:00 on Sunday night.
He said the child, who had been abducted three days ago from Kohistanat district, was handed over to his family after release.
No arrests have been made so far in connection with the incident but a manhunt to arrest the kidnappers was underway.
