TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): The road connecting Gizab district with Tirinkot, the capital of central Uruzgan province, has been blocked following heavy rains and landslides, with residents facing many problems.
Gizab district is 100 kilometers north-east of Tirinkot and its residents are grappling with many other problems besides the damaged and closed roads.
Coming to Tirinkot to resolve their problems, some residents of Gizab district said a year has passed since the new government’s coming to power, the security situation has improved, but the situation of people remained unchanged.
