Outgoing Pakistani envoy pays farewell call on Muttaqi

KABUL (Pajhwok): Outgoing Pakistani ambassador Mansour Ahmad Khan on Tuesday paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi in Kabul.

“At the completion of my tour of duty in Afghanistan, I made farewell call on HE Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan. We reiterated commitment of the two countries to further strengthen bilateral relations,” Khan tweeted.

Mansoor Ahmad Khan was serving as ambassador to Afghanistan since June 2020.  He has also served as ambassador to Austria from June 2018 to August 2020. He also served as Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations in Vienna.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan has so far said nothing in this regard.
