NEILI (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Development Association (ADA) office in central Daikundi province has been closed over alleged corruption and non-compliance with rules and regulations, an official said on Monday.
Eng. Mohammad Naeem Ayaz, assistant head of development programs at the Economy Department, said the ADA office was closed due to massive corruption in the distribution of humanitarian assistance, lack of coordination with the Economy Department, documentation issues and some other reasons.
According to him, ADA Provincial Head Abdul BaqiUsmani and the organization’s Finance Manager Mohammad Nabi Jamal had fled Daikundi.
