KABUL (Pajhwok): Humanitarian cash assistance of $40 million has arrived in the capital Kabul, the Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) said on Tuesday.
On its Twitter handle, DAB wrote that $40 million in humanitarian cash assistance from aid-providing countries arrived in the country today (Tuesday) and transferred to a commercial bank.
“DAB leadership urges the international community to continue its humanitarian assistance with Afghanistan through banking channel and believes that the entry of any currency through legal manner is a positive step,” DAB said.
It is pertinent to mention here that it was the second cash assistance package landing in the country during the ongoing week.
