KABUL (Pajhwok): Intelligence personnel on Tuesday claimed to have seized more than 120 kilograms of drugs and some weapons in northern Baghlan province.
The General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) said in a statement that security forces recovered 104 kilograms of opium and 11 kilograms heroin in the Doshakh area of Salang. .
Four smugglers were also held in connection with the drugs from four separate cars a, the statement said.
GDI added the security personnel, acting on a tip-off, recovered arms and ammunitions in Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital.
