TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Residents of central Uruzgan province are complaining about growing unemployment and say they face severe economic problems and hunger.
Most Uruzgan residents are illiterate and they earn money through labor work which has currently declined to almost zero.
A laborer, Rahmatullah, waiting near the central square of Tirinkot city, told Pajhwok Afghan News unemployment and sky rocketing prices of commodities had made it difficult for everyone to buy food items.
