PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): At least three passengers have been killed and 12 more injured when a passenger bus plunged into ravine in the southern Salang pass district in the northern Baghlan province, an official said.
Traffic Director Qari Mohammad Nazir Abedi told Pajhwok Afghan News that a Mercedes 404 type bus veered off the road last night at three o’clock in south Salang pass in Khenjan district.
As the result of the accident three people killed and 10 more got injured.
But Hafiz Mohammad Yaqoob, a local official of Public Works Department said three people died in the accident while 12 more got injured who were evacuated to Khenjan health clinic for treatment,
Mostly such incidents occur due to the driver negligence or bad road conditions.
