Afghanistan U-20 football team reaches Oman

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s national football team has reached Oman to participate in preliminary matches of the Under 20 Asian Championship qualifiers, the Football Federation said on Monday.

In a statement, the federation said the Under 20 Asia football Championship will kick off from 14^th to 18^thSeptember in the Sultan Qaboos Stadium in Muscat.

Facing Thailand in their first match on Wednesday, Afghanistan will play against Philippines and Oman in group-G.
