KABUL (Pajhwok): An Afghan refugee has won the first position in a running competition in Iran, senior Olympic Committee official said on Monday.
Shah Mahmood Noorzai, an Afghan immigrant had won the first position by running 400 meters distance in 41 seconds, Nazar Mohmmad Mutmaen, the head of Afghan Olympic Committee wrote on his twitter handle.
Mutmaen added that Noorzai ran in the 26th round of the third season of Iranian athletics.
