KABUL (Pajhwok): A meeting on discussing the election of the president of the Kabul Chamber of Mines and Industries was disrupted by gunfire on Monday.
Representatives from industrial parks in Pul-i-Charkhi and Kabul were meeting in an effort to elect the head of the Kabul Chamber of Mines and Industries.
However, a verbal clash erupted at the election meeting. Gunfire was also heard, scuttling the discussions. In the wake of the incident, journalists covering the meeting left the venue.
