KABUL (Pajhwok): A businesswoman, named Dr. Aziza Afzali, has won a coal procurement project contract for the Ministry of Interior.
The businesswoman, the owner of Nawbahar Afzali Company, won the bidding for the project a few days ago. Several private firms participated in the tender.
Hafiz Mohammad Sediq Sediqi, director of procurement at MoI, said bids for coal supply to central police were called in line with procurement rules.
The Nawbahar Afzali Company, offering the lowest bid, was awarded the contract on the basis of the bidding that was held in a transparent manner.
Aziza Afzali thanked the relevant authorities . . .
