NEILI (Pajhwok): The Environmental Protection Department have termed the environmental condition in Daikunid satisfactory and tasked volunteer teams and councils in Neili and districts to fight air pollution.
Ebrahim Sharifi, head of provincial Environmental Protection Department, said local residents fully cooperated with them in the area of environmental protection despite the drought challenge. Due to public cooperation pollution is not seen a big issue in Daikundi.
He said, the investigative teams were now activating every day; they have complete monitoring in the markets and other areas of the city to spread awareness and prevent pollution.
