MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): The first train carrying commercial goods related to the joint economic corridor of Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China arrived in northern Balkh province on Thursday.
The train arrives two weeks after representatives of Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China signed the agreement of the joint economic corridor, which was officially opened today.
Governor Qudratullah Abu Hamza said the Afghan government wanted good political and economic relations with countries of the region and the world.
