QALAT (Pajhwok): A cricket tournament featuring 10 local clubs ended in southern Zabul province on Monday.
Mahboob Mohabat, provincial cricket director, told Pajhwok Afghan News the 23-day tournament was restricted to 30 overs.
He said four teams reached the semi-finals and Hawashinasi and Hamrah teams marched into the final.
According to him, the Hawshinasi team was bundled out for 190 runs in the 30-over game, but the Hamrah team could not chase the target.
Ahmad Wali Sial was named the best bowler of the tournament for taking 17 wickets while Hayatullah Raihan was declared the best batsman . . .
