KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s skipper Mohammad Nabi has become the new No.1 T20 International all-rounder, overtaking Shakib Al Hassan of Bangladesh.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) said on Thursday: “Nabi is the new No.1, surpassing Shakib Al Hasan. India Hardik Pandya has also broken into the top four, after his impressive showings in the series against Australia.”
A statement from the ICC said Pandya notched up scores of nine and 25* in the last two T20Is against Australia, besides chipping in with some handy overs.
He is now joined on the fourth spot along with Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga.
