KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces detained a suspect with 2.4 million afghanis he snatched from a moneychanger in northern Baghlan province, the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) said on Saturday.
GDI tweeted that intelligence operatives detained a ‘robber’ in Pul-i-Khumri City who had stolen 2.4 million afghanis from a moneychanger.
The money was handed over to its owner, the source said.
According to another report, GDI personal recovered a large amount of weapon and ammunition from a former border police commander, Alam Gul, in southeastern Paktika province.
