Weapons cache seized; 2 suspects arrested in Balkh

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Security forces have found a cache of weapons in the Chaharkint district of northern Balkh province, police official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Mohammad Asif Waziri said a cache of weapons seized in the district during a clearing operation.

He said four machine guns, a M-40, a rocket, two Kalashnikovs, one M-16, a pistol and a number of bullets were seized from the depot.

According two him, two suspects also detained in connection with the weapons cache.
