LASHKARGAH/ FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): A 10-year-old boy who felt into a deep well in the Washer district of southern Helmand province has been rescued, but a woman lost her life in in a similar incident in Farah, officials said on Monday.
Farah Information Director Maulvi Sabawoon said a woman plunged into a deep well in the Degfroshi locality of Farah City on Sunday morning.
She died after 48 hours, the director said, adding that rescue efforts failed.
