KABUL (Pajhwok): The UN has delivered over one billion US dollars in humanitarian assistance to millions of Afghans in need during the past year, said the world body’s assistance mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said on Tuesday.
The cash has been put in a commercial bank and not given to the de facto authorities and the Afghanistan central bank.
