Hundreds of Shiberghan families get Chinese aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): Hundreds of needy households in the capital of northern Jawzjan province have received humanitarian assistance provided by China.

At least 440 families in Shiberghan were given the Chinese-donated aid, including flour and rice, on Wednesday, Xinhua reported.

Disaster Management and Humanitarian Affairs head for Jawzjan Maulvi Sarajuddin Saraji welcomed the assistance from China.

Shafa Khan, one of the aid recipients, said the assistance could meet his family needs for 12 to 15 days.
