‘No curbs on women working under Sharia Law’

SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok):  Women can work and move under the framework of Islamic sharia Law and they will face no restriction, an official said on Friday.

The comment was made by Mawlavi Saifuddin Motasem, head for the Information and Cultural Affairs Director of northern Jawjan province during an exhibition in which women handicraft product were put on display.

“No curbs introduced on women working under the framework of Sharia Law in Jawzjan, we supported them and their work,” he said.

Western countries have launched negative propaganda against the Islamic Emirate that it is not true, adding that men and women should work within the framework of Islamic Sharia and earn a bite of halal bread for themselves and their families.

Eng. Amanullah Amin, the provincial head of ACTED, said that ACTED was an international charity organization. All Institutions are not separate from the government, adding that ACTED charities operated with the laws and regulations of each country.

Since 2019, ACTED implemented sustainable development program in the fields of education and training, good governance and agriculture, the ACTED office has been able to make significant changes in the level of economic development of families at the level of cities, villages Faizbad, Agcheh, Khajeh Dokoh and Shebarghan, he said.
