ASADABAD (Pajhwok): The reconstruction of some state buildings in eastern Kunar province which were damaged during the past conflict has been started, an official said on Sunday.
Brig. Gen. Elhamuddin Umari traveled to Kunar province to open the reconstruction of damaged buildings.
He said: “The reconstruction of damaged building started at the cost of 7.3 million Afs by the Sahail Construction Company. This including the reconstruction of Khas Qeta, police HQs of Dangam, Marawari, Shaigal district and administrative building and Police HQ of Ghaziabad districts.”
Kunar Police Chief Abdul Haq Haqqani welcomed the reconstruction move of the Ministry of Interior and said there was dire need for the reconstruction of some state buildings in Kunar.
