2 people killed, 10 injured in Faryab traffic accident

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and 10 others injured in a traffic accident in the Pashtonkot district of northwestern Faryab province, an official said on Wednesday.

Information Department Director Mawlavi Shamsullah Mohammadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident happened at around 11:00pm on Tuesday night when a flying Coach type vehicle overturned after skidding off the road in the Kata Labi area.

He said a man and a woman were killed and 10 other passengers injured as a result of the accident.
