KABUL (Pajhwok): The prices of Kazakh flour has declined while Malaysian cooking oil surged in Kabul markets during outgoing week, according to market sources on Saturday.
Zmarai Safi, head of the Food Traders Union, told Pajhwok Afghan News the price of 16 litres of cooking oil has jumped from 1,850 afs to 1,900 afs due to surged in demand and decline in supply.
He, however, said the wholesale price of 49-kilograms of Khazak flour declined from 2,400 afs to 2,380 afs.
He said the price of 49-kilogram of Indian sugar stood at 3,000afs . . .
