SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): The hiring process of 481 teachers who had passed the administrative reform and civil service exam started in northern Sar-i-Pul province, an official said on Saturday.
Education Director Mawlavi Muhammad Rahmani told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Two months ago, the exam for 481 vacant positions of teachers was organized, and after the announcement of the results of the said exam, we have hired 281 teachers in one month, and the work of hiring another 200 teachers is in progress”.
He said, in this province, 1,500 more teachers are also needed, and this matter has been shared with the Ministry of Education, and it is hoped that the recruitment process for them will also be completed.
According to him, currently, about 3,000 teachers served in Daikundi.
