Tribal elder’s beheaded body found in Takhar

TALOQAN (Pajhwok): A tribal elder’s beheaded body was recovered in the Dasht-i-Qala district of northern Takhar province on Sunday, an official said.

Najanuddin Ansar, crime branch chief of the district, said that Haji Saifullah, one of the tribal elders had been kidnapped 13 days ago from the district.

He said the headless body of Saifullah was found today (Sunday) morning.

He added investigation was underway into the incident.
