KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Nearly half factories in Khost City, the capital of southeastern Khost province, have been shut while some are facing shortages of raw material and suffered due to banking curbs and financial constraints, according to factories owners on Monday.
They said the trust that earlier existed by large foreign companies on them had now shattered due to banking curbs.
Factories owners said in the past they dispatched the amount for the purchase of raw material but now it took months to provide them with the amount for the purchase of raw materials.
