KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): A court in southern Kandahar province sentenced five people to various jail terms and lashes for stealing motorcycles and immoral acts.
Kandahar governor’s spokesman Haji Zaid told Pajhwok Afghan News four of the convicts had stolen motorcycles and other items in different areas of Kandahar City.
One of the men was sentenced to seven months imprisonment and 30 lashes and the second person sentenced to six months in jail and 30 lashes. The third person was sentenced to one year in prison and 39 lashes and the fourth person to seven months in prison and 39 lashes . . .
