7 worshippers injured in Kabul mosque explosion

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least seven people have slightly been injured as a result of an explosion inside the Sheikh Mohammad Rohani mosque in Kabul, a police official said on Saturday.

The explosion took place in limits of 5^th police district on Friday afternoon.

Police spokesman Khalid Zadran told TOLOnews that seven individuals sustained minor injuries as a result of the blast.

Without providing details, Zadran said the explosion occurred at a time when worshippers had gathered inside the mosque.
