FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Residents of some districts of northeastern Badakhshan province are complaining about poor quality internet and telecom services, urging a solution to the problem.
The residents of Juram, Ashkashim, Sheghnana districts and some other areas carp about the low quality telecom services.
Niaz Mohammad, a resident of Faizabad City, grumbled about the poor internet and voice call services.
He told Pajhwok Afghan News he was using Roshan SIM but its internet worked poorly.
He added: “We wait for hours to send a message on WhatsApp or to receive a message.”
Meanwhile, Jalaluddin, a resident of Khwahan district, also complained from low quality telecom services, saying they could not make a contact or exchange messages.
He urged ATRA and the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information and Technology to address their problems.
Khairuddin KhairAndish, in charge of Roshan telecommunication firm in Badakhshan, said that efforts were underway to improve and standardize their services.
