SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): A security man was shot dead in the Kohistanat district of northern Sar-i-Pul province yesterday, police said on Monday.
Mohammad Ibrahim Mukallaf, provincial police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The security personnel, Mohammad Ullah, was killed by two armed men on his way to his job”.
Mokallaf said the incident happened on Sunday shortly after 2:00pm in Qarghitawi valley of Kohistanat district.
Without giving details, he said two suspects had been arrested in connection with the incident and they were currently being investigated.
