KABUL (Pajhwok): Eight people were injured in an explosion that ripped through a vehicle carrying employees of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Kabul on Wednesday.
The blast took place in limits of the 5th police district at around 8:00 am.
Police spokesman Khalid Zadran told Pajhwok Afghan News the roadside bomb hit the vehicle in the Kart-i-Mamorin area of the capital.
He said based on initial information, eight people were injured in the explosion.
The injured evacuated to hospital and the area cordoned off, Zadran said, adding no one was allowed to enter the site.
