Muttaqi stresses global engagement with IEA

KABUL (Pajhwok): Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has called for the global fraternity to engage with the Islamic Emirate if Afghanistan.

Attempts at undermining the incumbent Afghan administration would not serve the interests of the international community, warned the foreign minister.

Addressing an event here on Tuesday, he believed it was about time the world embarked on constructive interaction with Afghanistan.

About the launch of coalitions and movements by the Afghans living abroad, Muttaqi said they should return home to serve their motherland.

Undermining the caretaker government of Afghanistan would be harmful for the entire world, the minister said, claiming people were happy with the IEA.
