KABUL (Pajhwok): Yet another international humanitarian assistance amounting to $40 million arrived in Kabul on Tuesday.
This is the second $40 million aid package that reached Kabul this week.
Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) on its Twitter page wrote a cash package of 40 million US dollars has arrived today and was handed over to a commercial bank.
The central bank expressed its gratitude to the international community and added “it welcomes the arrival of foreign currency to the country through legal channels” and asked the international community to interact and cooperate with Afghanistan in other areas as well.
The United Nations has said it has brought more than one billion dollars international aid to Afghanistan in the past one year to help Afghans.
