KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan have conferred on the need for enhanced cooperation in political, economic and health areas.
Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Ghani Baradar discussed with TalantBek Masadykov, special representative of the Kyrgyz president, issues of common interest on Monday.
A statement from the deputy premier’s office said Baradar noted strong relations between the two countries and called for increased bilateral cooperation.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) would not allow any group to use Afghanistan’s soil against any country, Baradar promised.
The Kyrgyz diplomat voiced satisfaction with the current security environment in Afghanistan. He promised his country would cooperate with Afghanistan in the health sector.
Earlier, Masadykov met Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai and 2nd Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Salam Hanafi.
